Merck for Mothers is a decade-long commitment to address one of the world's oldest and most preventable health tragedies – the death of a woman from complications during pregnancy and childbirth.
Recognizing that maternal mortality is a multifaceted problem, we are working with global health partners, looking at all aspects of the issue, and applying Merck's business and scientific expertise to the challenge. We understand the need to listen to, learn from, and collaborate with others – especially healthcare workers, experts, and our partners on the frontline – to make the greatest impact in saving women's lives.
