Corporate Responsibility

We are committed to meeting greater health challenges every day.

As a global leader in healthcare, corporate responsibility is our daily commitment to tackle the world's biggest health challenges by discovering better ways to make a difference in everything we do.

This responsibility drives us to apply our scientific and operational expertise — and our diverse, global talents and resources — to some of the world's biggest health, environmental and economic challenges. And it allows us to deliver greater value to both shareholders and society.

Through innovative research, ground-breaking partnerships and smarter processes, we are always working to advance our performance in four priority areas:

  • Access to health

  • Environmental sustainability

  • Employees

  • Ethics and transparency

Access to healthcare is an obligation and our highest priority.

Creating new therapies is only the first step. We know that success can only be achieved when everyone who needs our medicines and vaccines can get them. In the United States and abroad, we've developed numerous programs to help improve access to our products.

The issues related to access are varied and complex. We seek to combine our strengths and abilities, working in close partnership with governments, donors, patient organizations, healthcare professionals, nongovernmental organizations, multilateral organizations and others in the private sector.
