Announcing the 2022 Recipient of Kenneth C. Frazier Award for Maternal Health Equity

 

Mali Health has won the 2022 Kenneth C. Frazier Award for Maternal Health Equity. This organization identifies barriers that prevent women and children from accessing quality health care in Mali and develops and implements solutions to address those barriers.

 
 

New Documentary Highlights Girl Child Concerns' Work in Nigeria

 

A documentary produced by Nigeria Health Watch focuses on how Girl Child Concerns, supported by Merck for Mothers, worked to improve access to maternal care by training village health workers in northern Nigeria. The program identified and trained a dedicated group of young women as Village Health Workers, with support from the Borno State Government.

 
 

New Publication Explores the Impact of MomCare During the COVID-19 Pandemic

 

Dr. Mary Ann Etiebet, Lead and AVP of Health Equity, contributed to a recent publication in Global Health: Science and Practice on how MomCare helped expecting mothers in Kenya receive care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
